Technical Support Specialist

Technical Support Specialist – IT Department - $22.68/Hr       
Closing Date: 07/07/2025

 

FT 40 Hr/wk Assists with configuring and maintaining agency mobile and office phone accounts. Assists with collaborating with vendor regarding IT equipment and phone accounts. Tracks inventory and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements of IT-related devices and equipment. Sets up and disburses new work stations and recycles identified technology equipment. Assists in providing training on workstation access and usage, agency systems, cybersecurity, and other IT-related topics to New Hires and agency employees having difficulty. Creates employee IDs for new hires as needed. Coordinates employee information between HR, supervisors, and IT for employee set-up, access, and term permissions. Responds to E-ticket system. Provides user support in software and hardware applications. Troubleshoots IT systems and equipment. Actively updates, maintains, and monitors all aspects of computer networks and resolves technical issues related to network interruptions.

Hours: Mon - Fri, First Shift Flexible

 

Education and Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems preferred
  • 1-year previous work experience in management systems required
  • Valid driver’s license
