BBY is building the operating system for independent service professionals who run their own businesses and manage everything from bookings to payments to taxes.
We’ve launched, raised funding, and are growing quickly with hundreds of service professionals already using the platform. Now we’re looking for our first full-time Founding Engineer to join us and help shape the future of the company.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the founders to design and build core product features across mobile, web, and backend
- Own major parts of the product from 0 to 1 (and beyond)
- Make key architectural decisions as we scale our platform
- Collaborate on everything from UX to database design to infrastructure
- Jump in on feature bugs and improvement
Our Stack
- Frontend: React Native (Expo), Next.js
- Backend: Node.js, Firebase, Supabase
- Infra: Supabase, Vercel, Google Cloud, Expo, Firebase, Github
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years experience as a full-stack or frontend engineer
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience shipping real products (startups, side projects, freelance, etc)
- Passion for startups and building things from the ground up
Bonus: Experience with mobile dev (React Native), Firebase, or scaling products
