Mental Health Internship for Returned Missionaries 

Location: Remote/Provo, Utah/Rexburg Idaho 

Organization: Latter Day Missionaries, in partnership with Psycophi | Mental Health Solutions. 

Duration: Ongoing (3-5 hours per week, with potential for more)

About Us: We are a dedicated organization focused on enhancing the mental health and well-being of missionaries at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after their missions. Our mission is to create resources that empower missionaries to thrive mentally, emotionally, and spiritually throughout their service and beyond.

Internship Overview: This internship is designed specifically for Returned Missionaries who are passionate about mental health and want to make a positive impact on the missionary community. You will have the opportunity to help create a variety of materials aimed at supporting the mental health of pre-missionaries, current missionaries, and those adjusting to post-mission life. Projects will include developing a website, designing courses, and producing educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Development: Assist in the creation and design of a website dedicated to mental health resources for missionaries.
  • Course Design: Collaborate on the development of online courses aimed at improving the mental health of pre-missionaries, current missionaries, and returned missionaries.
  • Content Creation: Produce educational materials, including articles, guides, and multimedia content, focused on mental health and well-being.
  • Research: Conduct research to ensure that all materials are evidence-based, up-to-date, and culturally relevant to the needs of missionaries.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a team of like-minded individuals to brainstorm ideas, provide feedback, and ensure that all content aligns with the mission and values of the organization.
  • Innovation: Contribute creative ideas for new projects or improvements to existing content, with a focus on enhancing the mental health of missionaries.

Qualifications:

  • Returned Missionary with a strong interest in mental health and missionary work.
  • Passion for helping others thrive mentally and emotionally.
  • Interest in learning how to design websites, build courses, and create educational materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • No prior experience in web design or content creation is required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
