Role Overview:
We’re seeking an IS Intern to join our Special Projects Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, data integrity, and tech-enabled process improvement. You’ll support the implementation and optimization of internal platforms while working closely with departments like Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct lease audits and validate rent schedules for accuracy
• Assist with system integrations and data migration across tools like MRI and AppFolio
• Help improve reporting workflows by building and testing internal dashboards
• Collaborate with multiple teams to gather, clean, and verify operational data
• Organize and document processes to support tech audits and platform upgrades
• Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on efficiency, reporting, and data quality

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with real estate systems or operations is a plus
• Comfortable working in Excel and learning new platforms quickly
• Exposure to cloud-based systems like AppFolio, MRI, or similar tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A self-starter who enjoys solving problems and driving process improvements
