Position Overview:

In this role, you will:
• Develop, support, and enhance client-server and web-based systems
• Assist users in resolving issues with daily operations
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate user IT needs
• Analyze system alternatives and make technical recommendations

Essential Functions:
• Support and enhance applications for DOC
• Analyze user requirements and technical problems
• Conduct system studies and make recommendations
• Stay up to date through ongoing training and seminars
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• Four (4) years of college coursework in computer science or related field
• One (1) year of professional experience in application services or related IT field

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1+ year experience designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using PowerBuilder, C#, or VB.Net
• Experience with MS SQL 2008+ or other databases (stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning)
• Experience using PowerBuilder IDE, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or Dynamics CRM
• Familiarity with SSRS and SSIS
• Experience using Windows 10+ and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of feasibility studies and system analysis
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders
