Sr. Data Warehouse Engineer

• Manage data integration solutions with third-party tools and external data sources. - 10%
• Build and maintain Sunrun database solutions in Snowflake, Single Store and MySQL. - 20%
• Optimize ELT processes to improve data reliability and performance. - 15%
• Continuously research new technologies and methodologies in data integration management. - 5%
• Manage data access and security using Role Based Access Control. - 15%
• Create and manage access to AWS cloud resources using Terraform. - 10%
• Collaborate with internal and external audit teams. - 5%
• Monitor status and respond to irregularities in daily scheduled data ingestion and model builds. - 5%
• Deploy changes engineered, tested, and approved through our SDLC and deployment pipelines. - 10%
• Participate in ongoing education initiatives. - 5%

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Information Systems
• 5 y. exp. as a Database Architect doing data warehousing using Snowflake, Informatica administration and monitoring; designing databases and implementing data security models; database performance tuning and monitoring; creating real-time data and API integration solutions using Spark and SingleStore; using MySQL, Tableau and data visualization tools administration and monitoring, Python and Shell scripting, AWS, Azure, GCP cloud administration, Git and CI/CD process configuration, administration, and monitoring; and automation of Infrastructure with Terraform.
