PAY RANGE: $22.00 - $26.00 / Hour
Internship Position for Summer 2026.
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)

Intern Description:
This role will provide support to our Customer Applications including but not limited to core billing systems, meter data systems, customer notification systems and customer portals. As an intern, you will learn about the different technologies that leverage customer data to provide billing information, customer notifications and key customer insights.
Job tasks include but not limited to:
- Provide support and development expertise for Core Business Systems.
- Work on a team of engineers, developers, DBA’s and business SME’s to operate and enhance core business systems.
- Provide programming or development support to various application interfaces including web services, database queries and file-based interfaces.
- Assists in maintaining and enhancing applications to address newly discovered problems or new requirements.
- Assists in the testing and debugging of applications prior to implementation.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Web Services, XML, JSON or any Object Oriented Language
Education and Experience Requirements:
We are looking for third year students who are actively pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related fields.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:
- Strong work ethic, demonstrating initiative, able to work independently, meet deadline and interact professionally with all contacts
- Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with members of the technical team.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Ability to grasp and follow policies and procedures to ensure corporate data security.
- Working knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Java or .NET.
- Basic familiarity with Source Control tools and best practices.
- Basic familiarity with reporting tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of Web Services, XML, JSON or any Object-Oriented Language.
Working Conditions:
This role will be a combination of both remote and onsite to facilitate onboarding and networking with the team
