
(#R2025-0957) Summer 2026: IT Service Now Internship
QTS' summer internship program will provide you first hand experience into the fast paced world of the data center industry by providing weekly lunch and learns, a comprehensive orientation program, and site based activities, socials and volunteering events. Every intern will be assigned initiatives tied to real QTS objectives helping with anything pertaining to the whole life-cycle of a data center build and/or company operations.
The IT Service Now Intern will gain experience in handling a variety of IT related tasks as it relates to employee access, account creation and more. These functions are vital to the success of any corporation and thus opens the door to a role with significant growth potential and longevity.
Technology Intern:
Assist the Technology team with day-to-day activities and responsibilities.
Develop scopes of work for design, configuration, and commissioning services.
Monitor the status and availability of in-production technologies.
Respond to break-fix issues and coordinate long-term corrective actions.
Track and resolve security vulnerabilities and associated risks.
Define and track agile development of software features requested by the business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
Exposure and proficiency in Java Script
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Must be a US Citizen
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school:
Auburn University
Kansas State University
Georgia State University
Southern Adventist University
Texas A&M University
University of Kansas
Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries.
Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, etc.
Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment).
