Essential Functions

Technologies Duties:

1. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on MavCONNECT (Salesforce) to staff members. Create training materials, manuals, and resources to support the effective usage of MavCONNECT. Conduct workshops and coaching sessions to enhance the skills of staff members in utilizing MavCONNECT tools and functionalities.

2. Assist with expansion of MavCONNECT capabilities by actively participating in the evaluation and implementation of new features and functionalities to meet evolving organizational needs. Assist with coordination of various platforms that will interact with Salesforce (STELLIC, etc.). Collaborating with stakeholders (including but not limited to Registrar, ITS, Salesforce, Admissions, advising) to gather requirements, and liaising with data analyst and developers to assist with solutions as necessary. Through proactive involvement in the maintence and expansion process, help the functional team optimize practices, and enhance overall efficiency.

3. Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff members on CRM-related queries and issues.

Training Duties:
1. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify university advising training needs and tailor programs accordingly.

2. Coordinate training sessions and manage logistics to ensure smooth delivery of training programs.

3. Create and maintain training materials for academic advisors, including manuals, guides, and online resources (ex: CANVAS onboarding).

4. Develop and implement assessment tools and methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of advising services and outcomes.

Work Schedule

20 hours a week. Flexible in the hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Some weekend hours may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Business, Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Student Affairs, etc.
  • Current graduate student in the University of Nebraska system.
  • Exposure to using CRM softwares and related tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar technologies.
  • Experience developing assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Background in information technologies is preferred.

Salary 

$20/hour
