Job Posting: Full-Time IT Technician

Juab School District

Juab School District is seeking a full-time IT Technician to provide technology support and services at the school level. This position plays a key role in ensuring reliable technology for students, teachers, and staff by maintaining and troubleshooting devices, networks, and classroom technology.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide on-site technical support in schools across the district for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and update computers, tablets, printers, interactive displays, and other classroom technology.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of school and district network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum and provide support for classroom technology tools.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user guides/documentation to help staff effectively use educational technology.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses, and facilitate repair requests.
  • Support user account management, system updates, and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with the district IT team to implement and maintain district-wide technology systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate?s degree or technical certification preferred).
  • Proven experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Familiarity with JAMF, Classlink, Google Admin, MacOS, iOS, Chromebooks, Windows, and classroom technology tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Experience working in an educational setting is a plus.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, year-round position
  • Salary is dependent on experience and placement on the Support Staff Salary Schedule (Tech I or Tech II lane)
