Departmental Manager 14; Office of Communications

This position will serve as the Web Team Manager, managing professionals in a complex work area. The Web Team Manager within the Office of Communications leads and oversees a team dedicated to optimizing and maintaining the Michigan Department of Treasury’s web-based communication platforms for both taxpayers and employees. Serving as the department’s Webmaster, the expert in web design, strategy, and digital customer experience, this position owns all Treasury websites, ensuring accessibility, functionality, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.

The Web Team Manager ensures a customer-focused approach to digital communications, working proactively to provide accurate and effective information to Treasury’s diverse audiences.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
