Precision Planting Business Intelligence Intern

Precision Planting is passionate about using science and technology to improve agriculture. The Precision Planting team develops innovative products that improve the lives of growers and make agriculture more sustainable, efficient and profitable. A Precision Planting Business Intelligence Intern will receive real-world experience, located in Tremont, Illinois. This paid internship position will be responsible for working closely with our data leads to provide insights into the data that exists across the organization. We aim high and work hard, but you will have fun and have the opportunity to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Data Analysts / Scientists to create visually appealing and informative data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. 
• Use data analytics tools to analyze and interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear and concise visual representations. 
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly and interactive dashboards for data-driven decision making. 
• Help develop and maintain the company's data visualization standards and guidelines.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in data visualization, data analytics, information design, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. 
• Experience or proficiency with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, JavaScript, Go. 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in data visualization and analytics within a fast-paced and innovative environment. The internship is flexible in terms of duration, but the ideal candidate should be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
