Associate Product Manager — AI / Retail Media

About the role
Data/AI-driven APM with the vision and execution to shape sponsored placements and on-site ad experiences that respect the shopper while driving incremental revenue. You’ll apply ML for relevance, pacing, and creative/testing while protecting UX and brand safety.

What you’ll do
• Turn monetization goals and insights into clear PRDs, user stories, and test plans.
• Own the backlog: maintain a prioritized product board; write user stories with ACs; manage dependencies with Ad Ops, Analytics, and Merchandising.
• Drive Agile rituals: lead refinement, sprint planning, standups, demos, and retros; maintain velocity and clear blockers.
• Coordinate releases: manage feature flags, experiments, and partner-facing comms for ad load/placement changes.
• AI for retail media: support ML-based ranking and eligibility, budget/pacing optimization, anomaly detection, and brand-safety guardrails.
• Define/monitor CTR, CVR, ROAS, incrementality; support uplift modeling and experiment design.
• Safeguard UX by balancing ad load, relevance, and page performance.
• Build dashboards and readouts (GA4/BigQuery); document decisions and outcomes.

What you’ll bring
• Graduate with strong quantitative skills (high proficiency in SQL; ability to ramp quickly on GA4 and BigQuery).
• Curiosity about eCommerce, ad auctions, and measurement; interest in applied ML for ranking and pacing.
• Excellent communication; ability to derive opportunities and solutions from partner dialogue.

Nice to have
• Exposure to ad servers, on-site sponsored listings, brand safety, and lift testing.
• Analytics tools experience (SQL, GA4, Clarity, BigQuery) and familiarity with experimentation platforms/feature flags.

 

This role whilst hybrid is Utah based, 4 days in office 1 day WFH (Friday). You will be expected to move to Utah quickly if you receive an offer from us. The role requires US permanent residency (Green Card or Citizenship). Unfortunately, we are NOT accepting STEM OPT applicants at this time.
