Information Technology Intern (HackerRank Test is needed)

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

 

Job Responsibilities

1. Learn to build and scale next-generation intelligent manufacturing platforms and products.

2. Gain experience in areas such as Intelligent Manufacturing, Engineering Control & Analysis, and Tool Automation.

3. Contribute to the development of AI-based BOTs and other innovative solutions.

4. Engage in software development activities.

5. Collaborate closely with operations and infrastructure teams.

6. Seize a unique opportunity to invent the future and advance TSMC's capabilities.

 

Job Qualifications

1. Major in Computer Science, Information engineering, Industry Engineering, Statistics or Mathematic related fields, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.

2. Experience in JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Kotlin, Rust, or other relevant coding languages is a plus.

3. Familiar with DevOps technical quality control processes, artifacts, and CI/CD toolchain.

4. Demonstrate the capability of new technology evaluation and adoption.

5. Logical thinking, teamwork spirit, and good communication skills.

6. Full stack web application development experience and building large-scale software applications is plus.

7. Experience in container and cloud-native solutions (K8s, Istio, ArgoCD, MongoDB, Redis, etc.) is a plus.
