Data Analytics Intern

The Willmar Stingers are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Intern to join our baseball operations team for the upcoming season. This individual will work closely with coaches and players to collect, analyze, and present baseball data that helps improve on-field performance. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply analytics in a competitive summer collegiate baseball environment. The internship will begin on May 11, 2026 and will conclude at the end of the Willmar Stingers season including post-season if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collect and analyze player and game data, including hitting, pitching, and defensive metrics

· Assist coaches with data-driven insights to support player development and in-game decision-making

· Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations for coaches and players in an easy-to-understand format

· Track trends and performance over the course of the season

· Support pre-game and post-game analysis, including scouting and opponent breakdowns

· Collaborate with video and baseball operations staff to integrate data with video analysis

· Maintain organized and accurate data records throughout the season
