Information Technology Intern, Chartwells Higher Ed / University of North Carolina - Charlotte
• POS price and menu programming, including implementation of new menu concepts and performing configuration changes as needed
• Maintain and update menus and prices to improve customer experience and revenue
• Integrate external brand specific related platforms into existing systems
• Update and update hardware and software systems as needed (credit card terminals and wand display systems)
• Troubleshoot all kiosks, mobile ordering platforms, and credit card reader issues, work with
• Work with dining team to support the addition of new dining programs
• Provide training and onboarding to new system users
• Manager and update POS/Kiosk/Mobile systems (schedules, promotions, product availability, and menu)
• Create/deliver reports on POS/Kiosk/Mobile ordering statistics (usage, revenues, etc)
• Create relationships with campus IT for quick resolution issues (networking, power, cable, etc)
• Manage requests from CDL (Compass Digital Labs)
• Work with campus dining team on implementation of new technology

Education and/or Experience:
Third year and above students in the Computer Science field. Previous IT experience preferred
Language Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Abilit to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
