Salesforce Summer Intern

Summer Intern – 2026

Centric’s Intern experience offers students the opportunity to explore a career in consulting.  Our program provides interns the chance to gain hands-on experience working as part of a client-facing project team.  The learning experience includes a combination of mentor coaching, self-guided learnings, and the ability to network with our operating group leadership team.  Students are also encouraged to participate in company events, community groups, and other internal initiatives during their summer with us.

What You’ll Do As A Salesforce Summer Intern? 

Summer internship within the Salesforce Practice for Centric Consulting’s National Operating Group is hiring an intern interested in learning the Salesforce platform.  This role is focused on working on delivering Salesforce Cloud solutions to our clients. Our program provides interns with hands-on experience working on our Salesforce project team. The learning experience will include self-guided learning, mentor coaching, and networking with different leadership members. As an intern, you will be provided with tools you need to work on earning your Salesforce Administrator Certification which is instrumental in building your career in the Salesforce ecosystem. 

Functional Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be driven by the client assignment or project, however, may include the following:

  • Technical research and recommendations
  • Information and Data modeling
  • Proof-of-concept development
  • Work closely with Centric’s project team members to deliver valuable outcomes
  • Participate in client facing project kickoff meetings, ongoing project status meetings to provide delivery excellence for our Salesforce projects
  • Work with team member and on occasion clients, to define scope and approach for Salesforce projects
  • Structure and present recommendations to internal team members, and on occasion to all project team members including clients
  • Manage time between multiple clients and projects, as necessary
  • Document system configurations and administrative processes
  • Keeping abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements
  • Assisting in supporting sales proposals, Statements of Work and RFP responses.
  • Contribute to build-out materials; case studies, marketing and sales collateral, internal processes

What We Look for in a Salesforce Summer Intern?

We’re looking for someone who loves to learn and is self-motivated!

Our primary goal is to solve complex business problems for our customers by leveraging the Salesforce cloud-based platform, and by learning the platform you will be able to help us achieve this. 

Skills and Experiences 

  • Exposure / experience with a cloud-based platform or a Customer Relationship Management tool
  • Experience with being able to learn new concepts and systems independently.
  • Exposure / experience with working with a team on projects
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) 

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prefer an intern who is located local to most of the National Salesforce team; Cleveland/Akron/Canton Ohio
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in: Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Operations, Management. 
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred expected graduation date between December 2026 – May 2027
  • Will consider rising juniors provided one year of experience within the major 
  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization (ex: H1B, TN, OPT, etc.)
