About the Role

Join LendingClub’s 2026 Summer Internship Program as a Business Analytics / Transformation Intern, where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting data-driven initiatives that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and long-term business value. This role is designed for rising seniors who are curious about how analytics, process improvement, and emerging technologies like AI can drive smarter decision-making. 

Interns will partner with business and analytics teams to analyze customer behavior, operational workflows, and performance data, turning insights into actionable recommendations. Each intern is paired with a manager who serves as a mentor and provides guidance, feedback, and exposure to how LendingClub operates. 

 

Program runs June 8 - August 15, 2026

 

What You'll Do

Analyze customer, product, and operational data to uncover insights related to customer value, retention, and experience 

Support customer lifecycle and journey analysis to identify key drivers of engagement, churn, and long-term value 

Evaluate workflows and processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and AI-enabled solutions 

Assist in defining and refining KPIs, metrics, and reporting to support data-informed decision-making 

Collaborate with cross-functional partners to document findings and translate analysis into recommendations 

Present project insights and outcomes to LendingClub leaders at the conclusion of the program 

 

 

About You

Rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Operations, or related disciplines) 

Strong analytical foundation with experience using Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, or R is a plus 

Comfortable interpreting business and operational metrics such as customer value, retention, churn, product usage, and efficiency measures 

Interested in customer journeys, lifecycle analysis, process improvement, and transformation work 

Curious about AI and automation concepts and how they can improve business outcomes (no advanced technical development required) 

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns, root causes, and opportunities 

Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn analysis into actionable insights 

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment 

 

 

WORK LOCATION 

Lehi, Utah (2701 N Thanksgiving Way, Suite 300, Lehi, UT 84043)

LendingClub operates on a hybrid schedule, with teams in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 

 

COMPENSATION 

The pay rate for this position is $24/hour.
