Program Management Intern

Join one of the fastest growing mission-driven organizations focused on reimagining STEM workforce development. 

In this role, you will work directly with the CEO (Forbes 30 Under 30, Stanford MBA, UNESCO's Quantum100) on building and delivering high-impact programming.

This is a unique opportunity to gain project management skills; learn first-hand from a successful executive on how to run a start-up; and exposure to emerging technologies, like quantum computing.

About the role:

We’re looking for strong communicators and organized thinkers who want a behind-the-scenes look at how a fast-growing, global organization operates. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with leadership team members, including FTI's CEO and founder, Kiera Peltz.
 

 Responsibilities may include:

  • Program Management & Operations: Support the planning and execution of emerging tech programs through student support, communications, scheduling, LMS management, stakeholder coordination, and live session moderation.
  • Data Analysis & Impact Reporting: Analyze program data, identify trends and insights, and create reports and dashboards for staff, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Evaluation & Assessment: Develop and implement surveys and evaluation tools to measure program outcomes and support continuous improvement.
  • Events & Networking: Help coordinate student meetups, research symposiums, lab tours, and networking events with universities, researchers, and industry professionals.

Application Details

Location: This is a remote full-time internship. 

Dates: June 8 - August 14, 2026 (start & end dates are flexible)

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. We will provide support to you and work with your university should you apply for university funding that covers unpaid internships at nonprofit organizations. Most universities offer funding programs such as this.
