ABOUT THE ROLE

Lowe Property Group is seeking a highly analytical and technically curious Data & AI Analyst Intern to join our team in our Sugar House family office in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This is a unique opportunity for a student with a background in computer science, data analytics, engineering, or AI to apply their technical skillset within a fast-growing, vertically integrated multi-family real estate private equity firm.

We are looking for someone who can bring a skillset our team does not currently have — helping us leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced data analysis to improve acquisition sourcing, underwriting efficiency, asset management reporting, and operational decision-making.

You will work directly with ownership and senior leadership to identify opportunities for innovation, build tools, test ideas, and implement scalable systems across the company.

This position will be considered for potential future full-time employment.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions across acquisitions, development, asset management, and property management
  • Build tools, dashboards, and automations to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights
  • Assist in developing processes to more efficiently source and screen acquisition opportunities
  • Help automate underwriting workflows, reporting systems, and data collection processes
  • Integrate data from property management, market research, and financial systems into centralized analytics tools
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications within the firm
  • Support leadership in special projects related to operational efficiency and growth initiatives
  • Maintain and improve data integrity across company platforms

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently enrolled in computer science, data analytics, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical program
  • Strong interest in applying technology within a business or investment context
  • Proficiency in Excel required; experience with Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred
  • Familiarity with AI tools, APIs, automation platforms, or workflow optimization strongly preferred
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to build and test new ideas
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
  • Must work well in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
  • Must be willing to work out of LPG’s corporate office in Sugar House – Salt Lake City, UT
  • Interested in working in Utah post-graduation
