About the Team  

Magic: The Gathering is seeking a Marketing Analytics and Measurement Intern to support campaign measurement, experimentation, and executive reporting across global set launches. This role sits within the Measurement and Testing team and partners closely with Marketing and Social to design and build a best-in-class dashboard ecosystem that informs campaign strategy and tracks performance across paid, owned, and earned channels.  

This is a hands-on analytics role ideal for someone who wants exposure to real-world marketing measurement, experimentation, and stakeholder-facing reporting within a global entertainment brand.

What You’ll Do as a Marketing Analytics and Measurement Intern: 

Partner with Measurement, Social, and Marketing teams to design and build a suite of campaign dashboards across set launches 

Develop automated reporting in Tableau and Power BI for executive, tactical, and channel-level audiences 

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate marketing, social, CRM, and web performance data 

Support campaign benchmarking by tracking performance against historical launches 

Contribute to holdout test readouts and experiment analysis 

Help standardize KPIs and reporting definitions across paid, owned, and earned channels 

Translate complex data into clear visual narratives that inform leadership decisions 

 

What You'll Bring: 

Technical Requirements 

Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and data validation 

Experience building dashboards in Tableau 

Experience building reports in Power BI 

Ability to work with structured marketing datasets such as campaign performance, web analytics, and CRM data 

Strong data visualization and storytelling skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience with marketing analytics, experimentation, or campaign measurement 

Familiarity with digital marketing channels including paid media, social, and web analytics 

Understanding of A/B testing or basic statistical concepts 

Passion for gaming, entertainment, or Magic: The Gathering 

Ideal Candidate Traits

Compensation Range, Currency USD:   

Undergraduate Interns: $34.00 – $40.00/hour 

Program Details  

Interview Timeline: February – April  

Program Dates:  

Start: Early June (target June 8)  

End: Late August (target August 21)  

Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Final rates communicated during offer process
