Associate PNT Engineer

This entry level position will be responsible for working, as part of a diverse and skilled technical team, to write and test software in high level languages and to develop and test positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) algorithms from concept to implementation.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or other relevant technical field
- Academic experience developing software using C++ or Python
- Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen
- Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position

 

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

- Master's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant technical field
- Demonstrated experience with conducting fundamental, basic research and development and applying concepts in a research setting
- Demonstrated experience working in Linux environments
- Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a hybrid work environment
- Active US SECRET (or higher) clearance
