Position Overview
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support our efforts to strengthen and align our cybersecurity program with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). This internship offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance within a professional IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing and mapping organizational practices to the NIST CSF core functions (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover).
- Support documentation of security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Help maintain compliance tracking logs and risk documentation.
- Assist with asset inventory updates and basic risk tracking.
- Contribute to cybersecurity reporting and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Strong written communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in cybersecurity governance and compliance.
