Corporate Purchasing Intern
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will support and execute strategies withing the Corporate Purchasing team from various sources and share data across multiple departments and associates within the Nifco organization. This person will work directly for the Corporate Purchasing Manager working on special purchasing projects that will help develop long-term strategies.

Essential Functions:
- Conduct data analytics to identify patterns and trends that support business decisions.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
- Monitor and enhance existing data gathering processes for improved performance and efficiency.
Education:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- Ability to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
Skills/Experience/Requirements:
- Must demonstrate ability to prioritize and meet stringent deadlines.
- Effective communication skills are necessary. (Verbal and written skills)
- Minimum of one (1) year managing projects
- Must have ability to motivate and lead others in a positive manner.
- Proven skills in problem solving and decision making.
- Highly detail oriented and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages)
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company.
- Excellent attendance is a necessity.
