This vacancy is for an Office Automation Technician position in the Department of Commerce, Atlanta Regional Office located in Atlanta Georgia.

Duties

  • Provide technical support and assistance for all laptop automation activities in the regional office and ensures that proper software has been installed and ready for shipment to the field representatives.
  • Develop methods for automating administrative and program reports from electronic systems (i.e., Internet, CD-ROM, Microfiche, databases, electronic bulletin boards.)
  • Operate and maintain computer hardware, software, electronic mail, and telecommunications in order to support office automation activities
