User Experience Quality Assurance Analyst/Coordinator

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just know how to manage projects—they know how to hold the line on quality, accountability, and results. You’ll be contributing to the documentation, functionality, optimization, and overall quality assurance of all user-facing aspects of Whova’s applications.


You’ll partner closely with our QA Automation team, lead outsourced testers, and stay hands-on with manual testing. Most importantly, you’ll be the person who owns the quality process—catching what automated systems miss and ensuring that our standards don’t slip, even under pressure.

Whova revolutionizes event engagement and attendee networking by providing the Whova event management software and services to support events, conferences, expos globally every day. What You'll Do:

  • Create, find, and implement processes for manual testing.
  • Manage outsourced testers: assign tasks, review deliverables, and keep timelines tight.
  • Create and maintain testing acceptance criteria and scenarios for our applications.
  • Collect testing needs from our project teams, and determine priorities that are consistent with business goals and objectives.
  • Track and document bugs and issues clearly for developers.
  • Validate features and fixes before they ship.
  • Maintain internal documentation for system behavior and processes.
  • Proactively identify quality risks and gaps before they become problems.

What We Expect:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cognitive Science, HCI, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in QA and user-facing application testing.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Organized, structured, and efficient—especially under pressure.
  • Experience with issue/bug/defect tracking tools
  • Experience in written requirements and use cases
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
