aosenuma is looking for an AI Project Manager Intern to support and lead AI-driven projects, primarily for ESG and related industries. This role involves coordinating AI developers, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects move forward with clarity, structure, and measurable progress.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing real AI software projects, working with technical teams, and learning how AI-first companies build, test, and deliver solutions in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the project lifecycle from start to finish.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and track progress using agile methods.
- Address project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate status meetings and report progress to stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation and process workflows.
- Support agile practices such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and coordination of team members.
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time, with clear communication and quality outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience or interest in project management within AI, technology, or software development.
- Understanding of AI technologies and software development processes.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Notion, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of agile project management.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills focused on deadlines, accountability, and quality outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows.
- Experience managing or supporting software projects.
- Interest in ESG, sustainability, social impact, or business process improvement.
- Ability to translate technical progress into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced AI startup environment.
