Software Systems Integrator

Sage Ag Inc. is currently seeking a hardworking, self-motivated, & detailed oriented individual this is passionate about agricultural technology & machinery. Through this position, you will be working with a major agricultural machinery manufacturer with cutting edge technology. As a Software Systems Integrator, you will be conducting software testing, assisting in root cause analysis, tracking issues and the progress of solutions, and communicating with product managers, developers, and engineers on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute software test cases to validate functionality and performance across various applications.
  • Set up and configure software testing environments, including both automated and manual testing tools
  • Record and analyze software test results, ensuring accurate documentation of findings.
  • Collaborate with development teams to report and track software issues identified during testing.
  • Conduct software regression testing to ensure existing features function correctly after updates or changes
  • Participate in user acceptance testing to verify that software meets user requirements.
  • Provide feedback on software usability and performance based on testing outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 in a technical field (e.g., Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science).
  • Experience with agricultural equipment (especially planters and seeders)
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting software and technology.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation purposes.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% for field testing (Texas, California, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CAN, J1939, and ISOBUS protocols.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Arduino operating systems.
  • Skills in programming languages like Python, C, or C++.

  • Compensation: Pay plus bonuses based on experience. All travel expenses paid by Sage Ag Inc.
