What you could be doing:
Some of the tasks involved in this role are:
Focus: Onshape Automation, HAC Design Templates, Feature Scripts, Quality Auditing, Model-Based Design Standards
Develop an Automated Design Template Library
• Support the COE team in creating standardized Onshape templates for HAC and common product families.
• Embed design standards and best practices in the Onshape model and drawing templates.
• Target: Quantified reduction in engineering setup time for new projects.
Create Custom Onshape Feature Scripts
• Develop reusable Feature Scripts that automate repetitive design tasks.
• Improve consistency and eliminate manual modeling steps.
• Target: Deployment of at least 2–3 production-ready automation tools and quantify the gain in model creation speed through the use of these tools.
Build Automated Design Audit Tools Supporting the "Zero by Design" Initiative
• Develop tools that verify compliance with company design standards.
• Check dimensions, naming conventions, configurations, and metadata.
• Target: Automated detection of common modeling errors and quantification of issues identified before designs are released.

Candidate requirements:
- You should be no more than 12 months post-graduation and available to take up a position no later than 30 September 2027
- You should have no more than 12 months’ work experience (not including university placements, internships, summer jobs, etc.)
- You must be eligible to live and work permanently in the U.S
- You will need to have a Degree and/or Masters in a relevant discipline i.e.:
- Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- A good level of verbal and written English
- Driving Licence
- Willing to work full-time, in person
