About Treble One

Treble One helps companies navigate and win inside the Department of the Air Force. Our team of former Air Force leaders brings decades of operational, acquisition, and program experience to bear on a problem most companies find opaque: figuring out where their technology fits the mission, who actually makes the decisions, and which funding pathways are real.

We deliver that through three offerings T1 INSIGHTS™, our market intelligence platform mapping DAF organizations, budgets, programs, and stakeholders; our Defense Accelerator programs; and direct consulting engagements. We are a small, senior team based minutes from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

About the Role

We are looking for a student intern to take on discrete, well-scoped projects across four areas: AI implementation, data management, product development, and business development support.  The role suits a student who is curious about how AI actually gets adopted inside a working business, comfortable moving between analytical and administrative tasks, and interested in the defense technology market.

Note: This position does not require a security clearance and does not involve classified material. All work is unclassified.

What You’ll Do

AI Implementation

  • Test AI tools and assistants against real Treble One workflows, research synthesis, report drafting, meeting preparation, and data extraction
  • Build reusable prompts, templates, and lightweight automations for recurring work
  • Write short internal how-to guides and walk team members through what you have built

Data Management

  • Help maintain and expand the datasets behind T1 INSIGHTS including organizations, programs, budgets, stakeholders, and funding pathways
  • Pull and structure information from public sources including DAF budget exhibits, SAM.gov, USASpending, SBIR/STTR award databases, and published organizational charts
  • Build recurring reports and simple dashboards

Business Product Development

  • Support development of new T1 INSIGHTS™ features, data cuts, and deliverable formats
  • Help draft and format client-facing materials, report templates, visualizations, one-pagers

Business Development Support

  • Research target companies, defense technology firms, SBIR awardees, venture-backed startups entering the government market, and build qualified prospect lists
  • Maintain CRM records and keep pipeline data accurate and current
  • Draft outreach and follow-up templates for team review
  • Support assembly of proposals and marketing materials
