Location: Bay Area & remote team collaboration

Time Period for Internship/Externship: (Entirely flexible to your schedule. This is an ongoing international project, so should you not be available for the next few months, just let us know. We can work around your schedule.)

Time period is particularly flexible for involvement in the project-based initiative.

The Creative Process is traveling to universities around the world, so opportunities to participate beyond this time period are possible, adaptable to the student’s free time and interests.

Time period is flexible, but are there any dates a student should be available?

The next few months is the listed time period but is adaptable to your schedule. If we can have an initial video meeting that would be great. If you have other projects, then we might outline collaborations and resume later in the year.

Skillset: All Levels Welcome - BA or Graduate Students

Writing or editorial background is helpful. If you are on the editorial team or a contributor to one of Stanford University’s publications, this is ideal because that way it’s fun, has synergy with activities you are already doing, and will not entail many extra hours. It is a way of sharing your creativity in a variety of publications and reaching a wider audience through The Creative Process traveling exhibition.

All Disciplines Welcome

All collaboration is appreciated and is completely adaptable to your core skills. We have collaborated with students from a variety of disciplines, including STEM, business, and communications. What is most essential is to be curious, have initiative and a desire to learn. Your knowledge of the local artistic and educational community helps us celebrate Stanford University and the Bay Area s creative talent.

A number of our participating students have discovered through The Creative Process that they excel in areas outside of their field of study and have gone on to jobs in those disciplines.
