Be part of the Roughing It team!

Design your own Environmental Education curriculum for children ages 4-14, with an emphasis on hands-on learning. You will develop your skills as an environmental interpreter while educating today’s youth about environmental principles, native (and non-native) species, habitats, and choices for a sustainable impact. We are looking for someone who loves to explore and is passionate about teaching others how to make a difference. See our website for more information!

Job Details

  • 2024 Camp Season: Mon-Fri, June 10, 2024 through Aug 9, 2024
  • Camp Hours: The camp day is 9:00am-3:00pm. Most positions are 43-47 hours/week.
  • Location: Our main camp site is at the Lafayette Reservoir. Our swimming site is at the Soda Aquatic Center in Moraga. Staff commute to their work site unless they are a bus counselor who meets the bus at its first stop.
