Supply Chain Tech Analyst Intern -   Lynchburg, VA Ecommerce Distribution Center *Local candidates needed to Lynchburg, VA - No relocation or housing!

 

J.Crew is currently seeking a Supply Chain Tech Analyst Intern.  J.Crew is among the most selective in the industry because we place a high value on fostering the next generation of talent.   We will be scouting for rising juniors/seniors interested in starting on a path to an amazing career.   At J.Crew, you will gain educational experience in a distribution center environment offering many opportunities to work with our IT, Engineering, and Operations teams.  

 

Project Summary

 

Over the course of the ten-week period, the Intern will be working with our Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) implementation while partnering with many different departments in J.Crew’s Ecommerce distribution center (Lynchburg, VA).   You will be designing and developing reports for functionality enhancements during the post go live of our Manhattan Active implementation plus many other exciting duties.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Internship is designed for rising seniors, Seniors
  • Must be currently enrolled in a related degree program - Bachelors in Computer science or related
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as collaborate with the team
  • Excellent clear/concise and effective communication in both written and verbal form
  • Knowledge of micro services / working with REST API
  • Knowledge is working on relational databases (mySQL , Oracle, SQL server Any or all of them)
  • Knowledge in Java/ Python / Perl or any other scripting languages
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge in building reports on any BI platforms (SSRS/Power BI etc)
  • Strong Excel skills

 

 Program Timeline

  • 10-week paid internship (6/3-8/9)
