About the Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, background, and aptitude to fill the role of Junior Analytics Developer. The candidate will work in the Analytics Group at Altus, which is tasked with the Company’s quantitative model development.  The successful candidate will be instrumental in the build out of Altus’ Analytics tools which are used internally for executing and tracking business as well as in the back end of Altus’ customer facing platform.  The analytics developed will be used to help track the delivery of clean power to the Company’s customers, and analyze the performance of Altus Power’s renewable energy projects for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
● Assist in the development and support of the Company’s financial modeling platform used by the Origination, Finance, and Deal Structuring team.
● Maintain and enhance the Company’s software infrastructure (including ETL pipeline, data automation, testing protocols, and documentation) to support the constant development and expansion of its analytics libraries.
● Learn Altus’ business in the renewable energy space on a detailed level in order to craft the most effective analytical tools to facilitate the business process.
● Work closely with the Digital team to assist in integrating our proprietary analytics APIs into internal as well as customer-facing tools.

Successful candidates will have:
● Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 
● strong programming skills in Python.
● preferably experience in additional languages/environments such as VBA, C++, SQL, and AWS/Cloud.
● data engineering / ETL experience 
● interest in the renewable energy and finance spaces 
● ability to learn new skills quickly 
● strong critical thinking ability and communication skills, and be a team player
