Sodexo is seeking a Computer Support Services Manager at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. The University of Cincinnati, a large metropolitan campus in Cincinnati, Ohio, is ranked one of the nation's top schools for innovation and technology. Over 50,000 students enrolled in this Division 1, Big 12 conference university. The successful candidate will support our on-campus POS system, internet network, server, and multiple PCs in our growing department.
In this hands-on technical support role, the successful candidate will:
- Provide daily operational support related to dining services technology needs on this campus and provide ongoing support to dining services staff who may not be as technically savvy
- Ensure POS Systems are always up and operational including monitoring, resolving, and escalating POS system issues
- Perform quality assurance testing of new hardware and software
- Provide root cause analysis on reported problems
- Provide trouble-shooting for POS hardware and software issues within the POS environment
- Assist in the administration of laptops, desktops, printers, digital signage, operating systems, updates, anti-virus, and routine maintenance of university dining technology
- Monitor the status of servers, workstations, POS terminals, and peripheral equipment used by the POS system
