IT Project Specialist Intern

Summary

The IT Project Specialist Intern will support on a series of projects in the IT Service Management focus area, specifically content management. The intern will assist in managing, updating, and improving documentation for various processes and systems. This role will collaborate with US and International based colleagues to fine-tune the documentation while providing weekly updates to the IT Office department. In addition, the intern will assist in developing a process for asset management in specific regional locations.

What You’ll Do

Essential Functions
•    Oversee and manage assigned project and/or department data, ensuring it is accurate and up to date 
•    Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
•    Assist with overseeing the development of an asset management process in regional locations
 

What You’ll Need

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
•    Ability to work independently

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 
•    ServiceNow proficiency
•    Information Technology Infrastructure Library  (ITIL) base knowledge

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience 
•    Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited college or university
•    Must be a rising Junior or Senior with a 3.0 or higher grade point average

Physical Job Requirements 
•    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
•    Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Compensation of $20 per hour
