Store Systems Intern
Summary
The Store Systems Intern will work with the IT Store & Central Solutions Department on a variety of tasks and assignments including assisting in the support of Lidl’s store and centrally managed systems (Point of Sale, CCTV, IoT devices). The intern will be involved in full cycle project management from discovery, design to development, and deployment. The Store Solutions Intern will receive hands-on training in a fast paced, evolving environment.
What You’ll Do
• Assist with incident management for technical store system related topics received via the Lidl ticketing system
• Engage and coordinate resources from the project and development teams
• Gain an understanding of product releases and versions
• Work with diverse audiences including business key users, end users, and highly technical IT professionals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in a team within an open office environment
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Must be self-motivated
• Ability to commit to a full-time work schedule (40 hours per week)
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited college or university
• Must be a rising Junior or Senior with a 3.0 or higher grade point average
Physical Job Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Travel Requirements
• Travel to Stores and Warehouses no more than 25% of the time might be necessary

Hybrid working model based out of the Company headquarters located in Arlington, VA
Compensation of $20 per hour
