Research & Development Intern

Program Summary:

The Co-x3 Family Foundation, our nonprofit is known for its commitment to learning, innovation, and community building, is seeking a Research Intern with a strong passion for research. This role is an integral part of our team, providing critical support to other members by conducting research in various domains and sharing knowledge of best research practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with presentation software, creating charts and graphs, and properly citing sources. This position is not only about gathering information but also about enhancing the foundation's research capabilities, contributing to our mission of disseminating knowledge and fostering an informed, engaged community.

Co-x3 Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. This internship is unpaid and entirely remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Research Assistance: Aid team members in conducting thorough and effective research within their specific domains.
  • Information Synthesis: Compile and analyze research findings, presenting them in an accessible and informative manner.
  • Best Practices in Research: Share knowledge and techniques for conducting efficient and reliable research, including methodologies, tools, and resources.
  • Presentation Creation: Utilize presentation software to create visual representations of data, such as charts and graphs, to effectively communicate research findings.
  • Documentation: Ensure all research is well-documented and properly cited, adhering to academic and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Research: Demonstrated interest and skill in research across various domains.
  • Familiarity with Research Tools: Experience with presentation software and proficiency in creating charts, graphs, and other data visualization tools.
  • Citation Skills: Knowledge of proper citation practices to ensure research integrity.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and relevance of research data.
