Support Engineer

eRESI is seeking an experienced candidate to join its growing Technology and Innovation department. The Support Engineer will join a dynamic team tasked with building integrated technology, services, data, and analytics for loan trading. A successful candidate will thrive in a small team where their contributions will make an immediate impact and interface directly with business users.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work directly with a cross-functional team of business users, developers, and product managers to understand and support the business requirements that drive the components of a best-in-class application.

- Participate in project meetings with other technical staff, business owners, and subject matter experts.

- Support development projects, develop internal tools, and maintain repositories.

- Develop and/or review the development of test protocols for testing applications before user acceptance.

- Provide technical support and training to business users of applications currently in production.

- Monitor and review application development progress against business priorities.

 

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

 

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Experience working in software development.

- Experience or education in some of the following:

  •  Full-stack development technologies such as C# .NET, SQL Server, GIT, Visual Studio, JavaScript.
  • Server technologies such as Node.js and C#
  • Relational Databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL

- Experience building and supporting applications.

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike.

- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units.
