Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position
This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As an Advanced Engineering Student Program for Intelligent Solutions Group (NPI Tech Ctr) located in Fargo, ND, you will:
- Work closely with supervisor or other engineering personnel to support Advanced Engineering projects: experiments, testing, and data analysis
- Document results in a neat and organized fashion for approval by supervisor and other engineering personnel
- Operate and maintain analytical laboratory equipment to support Advanced Engineering development and analysis work
- Perform other technical tasks as directed by a supervisor or mentor
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
- Assemble and disassemble electronic modules and fixtures using hand tools
- Read and understand the operating instructions of laboratory equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to interpret data and self-direct accordingly
- Graduation date of May 2025 or later
- Available to work during the academic year (16-20 weekly)
- Available to work during the summer semester (30-40 weekly)
What Makes You Stand Out
- Materials, Chemistry, Physics knowledge
- Experience in a laboratory environment
- Electrical or mechanical systems knowledge
- Knowledge of analytical tools for virtual design evaluation
- An interest working in the electronics industry
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- One year of study in Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
- Ideally you will be pursuing a Bachelors / Graduate Degree in Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
- Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
