Role Overview

As a Full-stack Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components of Halfgram’s app, delivering a seamless, engaging experience for users. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and improve core app features.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement frontend and backend components for Halfgram’s mobile app
  • Build and maintain APIs, integrating them seamlessly with frontend interfaces
  • Ensure responsiveness, scalability, and reliability across devices and platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain a smooth user experience
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development process

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate degree
  • Proficiency in frontend (JavaScript, React Native) and backend (Node.js, Python) technologies
  • Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud services
  • Strong understanding of full-stack architecture and RESTful APIs

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Halfgram user (We strongly prefer candidates who are familiar with our community and understand our mission firsthand)
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and responsive design
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices
  • Interest in user-centered design and community-driven platforms
