junior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a junior Machine Learning Engineer who is passionate about developing and applying machine learning to new domains. As a machine learning engineer at Chip Scan, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing ML algorithms and pipelines, work on speeding up ML deployments on-prem and in the cloud, and develop applications that implement, interface with, and support ML models.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (+3 years experience) or Masters degree (+1 year experience) in Computer Science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Solid working knowledge of machine learning pipeline including: researching, building, training, and analyzing machine models and the ELT data pipeline
- Strong Python skills, including common data and machine learning libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Pytorch, and scikit-learn. We work primarily with PyTorch.
- Working knowledge of statistics such as distributions, sampling, and confidence intervals.
- Working knowledge of Linux, such as bash, command line, and ssh.
- Working knowledge of DevOps, such as containerization, git, job scheduling, etc.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Good communication skills. You will be presenting to team members and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with graph-based machine learning and tools such as graph neural networks, PyG, and networkx.
- Knowledge of FPGAs and ASICs.
- Advanced Linux skills.
- Advanced DevOps skills.
