Position Overview
As the Real Estate Investment Property Manager (Assistant Property Manager), you will work onsite at our Legacy West office, supporting the daily operations of a diverse SFR portfolio. This position is perfect for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of property management while gaining exposure to real estate investment strategies. Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Leasing Support: Assist with tenant screening, rental applications, lease renewals, and marketing available properties.
- Collections & Evictions: Monitor rent payments, communicate with tenants regarding payment issues, and coordinate eviction processes when necessary.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule repairs, liaise with contractors, and ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
- Resident Relations: Serve as a point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Investment Exposure: Work alongside our investment team to gain insights into property acquisitions, market analysis, and ROI evaluations.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate property files, track expenses, and generate reports to support the management team.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Prior property management or real estate experience is helpful, but not required. We welcome motivated candidates who are quick learners.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
