Intern Title: Operations Analytics and Reporting Intern

Position Summary

Credit One Bank is looking for an Operations Analytics and Reporting Intern to leverage advanced analytics capabilities to improve efficiencies in Operations. This intern will analyze data related to selected areas of the bank's Operations to assist in uncovering areas of opportunity, improve systems and processes, enhance reporting, and provide insight to support decision making for our business partners within the organization.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Junior (entering junior year) or Senior (must have one semester/quarter remaining).
  • Majoring in Accounting, Business Management, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Human Resources Management, Information Management, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
  • This position is not open to sponsorship. 
  • Present in Las Vegas, NV, for the Summer Internship Program: June 9, 2025 – August 15, 2025 (10-weeks at 40 hours a week).

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform research of selected areas of the Operations using data processing and analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, and Python.
  • Utilize math to solve problems and answer questions.
  • Build Tableau/email reporting to summarize findings (e.g., patterns, correlations, trends, etc.) 
  • Present recommendations including assessment of business results associated with options explored using PowerPoint in combination with data/process analysis tools.

Program Dates:

June 9, 2025 - August 15, 2025

Program Goals and Objectives:

  • Throughout the course of this program, the intern in this area will learn how to thrive and get things done in an advanced analytics environment to solve the "real world" problems facing Credit One Bank. 
  • Learn how to collect data from multiple data sources, mitigate data limitations, and validate assumptions in the corporate world. 
  • Optimize throughput capabilities for capacity volume allocations.
  • Automate redundant agent tasks and build integrations into the existing infrastructure.
  • Evaluate business impact associated with analysis results and formulate recommendations that drive business results.
  • Leverage advanced analytics techniques to improve operational methods.
