IT Application Development Intern

What to Expect
As an IT Application Development Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications, and gain valuable hands-on experience in the healthcare technology sector.
Pay: $18-$23
Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week (Depending on your school schedule. We’re flexible!)
Duration: 8-12 weeks
Location: Onboarding, training, and some projects will be located at our 8220 N 23rd Ave. office in Phoenix, Arizona.
Throughout this Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona internship, you will:
- Learn the BCBSAZ business model, organization, and impact on the community.
- Assist with technical support, resolution, and analysis of information technology functions.
- Expand and develop knowledge through exposure to the roles within the IT Application Development area.
- Participate on work teams, contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department.
- Research, analyze, track, and resolve basic information technology problems.
- Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions.
- Learn area’s direct flow and how it affects surrounding systems and operational areas.

Qualifications
- Two years attendance at an accredited school pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in computer technology or related technical field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Intermediate PC proficiency
