Network Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Network Manager to oversee and manage the daily desktop management, desktop troubleshooting, and security of our organization's local multi-site network infrastructure. As a Network Manager, you will also collaborate with vendors and business units to ensure reliable and efficient network operations, troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Administration:
  Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization's network, ensuring connectivity, reliability, and availability for all users and devices.
• Network Security:
  Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
• Troubleshooting & Support:
  Provide technical support for network-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution of network outages and disruptions.
• Vendor Management:
  Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service and contract compliance.
• Documentation:
  Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and incident logs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Manager or Network Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Familiarity with network security practices, tools, and technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage projects effectively.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
