Application Development Intern

What You’ll Do: 

  • Be part of an Agile team responsible for development, bug fixes, code review, testing, and documentation 
  • Modify applications using .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, LINUX, etc. 
  • Develop code with guidance from more senior developers
  • Understand overall architecture of web applications
  • Maintain code integrity and organization
  • Utilize Git/GitHub for application source code control

  • Ability to show a web portfolio of coding experience
  • Strong analytical, structured problem solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work on a team and independently as needed
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing project requirements and continuous feedback
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and good software engineering practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Requirements: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field or other relevant training and experience totaling 4 years
  • Coursework or project experience in .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL
  • Self-driven, motivated to learn, detail oriented, and focused on quality
  • Flexible mindset with ability to switch focus
  • Ability to work up to 24 hours per week for the duration of the internship
