System Integrations help to develop new products for Diasorin and Luminex, a Diasorin brand, primarily driving the product development verifications and manufacturing transfer of completed products.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in supporting business operations through assigned duties under Diasorin staff supervision.
- Shadow and network with employees on cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of overall company concept including the Diasorin brand, customers, product lines/goals and all other aspects of service.
- Provides ideas to grow and improve the business. Participates in department meetings and connect points.
- Participates in designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions and present a final Capstone project at the end of the internship.
Additional Responsibilities and Duties
- Systems Integrations Intern will support the market launch of the point-of-care molecular instrument.
- Help develop test protocols for premarket instrumentation system
- Execute test protocols for instrument verification, validation and transfer to manufacturing
- Analyze test data and instrument logs (using Python or similar scripting language)
- Help write reports for review by Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in progress required. Currently enrolled in a University or College Program that is accredited. Preferred Area of Study: Biomedical Engineers but are open to students from other engineering or science disciplines if they have an interest in laboratory work and diagnostic device development
- Capable of working and communicating within a multi-site environment both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic laboratory skills
- Basic scientific writing skills
- Basic understanding of data analysis and experimental design
- Excellent Knowledge of
- Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Attention to Detail without losing site of the big picture

The hourly posting for this position is $20.00 Hourly. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
