Duties
- Serves as the program analyst with responsibilities of providing sound analytical advice on matters relating to operational readiness for the Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS) program.
- Serves as a program analyst responsible for the development and sustainment of automated systems that support the end-to-end Department of Defense (DoD) functional business area practices.
- Coordinates internal and external processes and is responsible for "cradle to grave" support to the Acquisition process and associated steps to ensure consistency and regulatory requirements are being adhered to, including writing Performance Work Statements, conducting market research, and facilitating cost estimates.
- Solicits program inputs from organization's internal and external partners; analyzes data to determine correlation with DLA's strategic plan and organization's business plan.
- Serves as a program audit liaison supporting A-123 internal control compliance, developing test plans, validating program compliance with operating procedures, assembling and reviewing evidential matter coordinating audit requests and Provided By Client (PBC) requests from auditors, assists with Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAEs) with Independent Public Accounts (IPA) for the DAAS program.
- Represents the assigned program at audit meetings with senior leaders and DOD representatives relative to policy and procedures.
- Responsible for the review of technical documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, Memorandum of Agreements, and Strategies/Plans submitted for approval.
- Coordinates and tracks program related action items across the program office ensuring that actions are completed on schedule to prevent unnecessary delays. Promotes teamwork across divisions and branches within the program to achieve program goals.
- Directs in-depth analysis and investigative analysis of specific process issues.
- Develops new or innovative approaches to evaluate the process and explore solutions to help ensure auditability. Ascertains the need and recommends corrective actions or regulatory changes.
- Drafts and promulgates improvement in program initiatives to technical elements by issuance of policy letters, job aids, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)...
- Develop process improvements based on analysis and/or trends. Systemic problems identified are briefed to the Program Manager and other senior leadership officials
