
Internship - Supply Chain Network Specialist
The Intern will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and updating Master Files used daily by the Strategy team. In addition to the above, interns will be taught (and put into practice) advance Excel skills and a “Analyst” mindset that are applicable for data-driven projects and professions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate with different departments in Global Supply Chain/Operations to collect /or pull existing data to create or update unitized Master File spreadsheets.
- Utilize both 3rd party online portals and Monster freight forwarders to collect freight pricing data for Master File spreadsheets.
- Work with Regional Operations Teams to understand Finished Product and Raw Ingredient Importation supply chains for the countries in that region. Using that knowledge of transactions schemes identify and verify HTS Code(s) for import into the countries in those regions.
- Establish an understanding of Monster’s products’ globally and identify / verify the shipping configurations for those products. Create a Master File of those configurations to better understand our freight costs regionally.
- Utilize Excel formulas to create databases that can be pulled accurately, efficiently, and is scalable for the Master Files. (V/X LOOKUP, Pivots, IF/IFS)
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Economics or Related Field (Completed or In Progress)
- Experience working cross-functionally.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical and detailed-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel and ideally Access and MS PowerPoint as well.
Base Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
